Description
One of the biggest issues with any turbo car is heat management. Our Composite Thermal Manifold Spacers are designed to fit between the heads of your EJ Subaru and the manifold and reduce heat transfer between these two components. This helps reduce the intake air temps entering your engine which translates to power gains!
CNC routed here in Australia from phenolic resin sheet and supplied with longer high tensile cap head bolts to suit either TGV or Spec C manifolds. We recommend the use of gaskets on either side of the manifold spacers, or alternatively gasket sealant.
An added bonus for those planning to run turbos with larger inlet pipes is these spacers give you extra room underneath the manifold. We recommend the thicker 9.5mm manifold spacers for those running front mount intercoolers, and the thinner 6.4mm ones for those running top mount intercoolers.
